This morning after speaking to the head at Paypal’s reinstatement department they have restored our account in good standing and apologize for what occurred.

We would like to have this apology in writing and offered to our customers. The action taken by Paypal hurt our company and our customers.

Many customers had made purchases using Paypal credit for the additional discount Paypal offered. Unfortunately, that discount was voided due to the actions taken.

The Manager handling our account is someone that Paypal should hang on to. He apologized on their behalf, reinstated our account without limits and according to him we can accept payment again without fear of any money being with held.

At this time, we like to thank Whateverebay for guiding us and offering support to us. As per their suggestion we have opened other accounts and will be offering additional discounts for returning customers.

We will be announcing later today, if Zava Interiors will consider selling on eBay again.

We find it interesting that they emailed you that horrible email but would not email you to notify you that our account is in good standing.

The events that occurred today, does not encourage us to use eBay or Paypal as an avenue for our Home Furnishings. Rather, we will use eBay to write about our products; not list them.

Many of you know that you can find us in other marketplaces and even here in our blog.

However, due to the unforeseen action by eBay and Paypal; we cannot take the risk to ship out merchandise for which funds have been placed on hold with Paypal. Due to the action taken without any prior communication to us, it makes them a huge risk to relay on Paypal to release payment once the order has been delivered.

We do hope that you understand, that we are looking out for you our Customer and for the best interest for our company.

At this time, we have decided that it would be best to issue you an immediate and full refund. Your payment is on hold with Paypal. The only way for us to get your money back to you is to issue the full refund. If not, Paypal can possibly hold the money for 6months.

We are prepared to fulfill your order. If you chose for us to ship to your order, please resubmit payment through Google Checkout. Google Checkout is a secure site and offers you all the protection you would think to get from Paypal.

We truly apologize for this great inconvenience Paypal and eBay have imposed on us. Please be assured that we are taking all steps necessary to have our account in good standing and maintain our account open.

We will be posting this letter on our website to inform all our customer and alert other merchants and buyer of the actions eBay and Paypal can take against a seller without cause. We do not have a single claim or chargeback. It is great disappointment to learn that a company such as eBay can behave in such a manner.
